About Us

UDI Wood Buffalo is the representative body for the development industry in Fort McMurray and area. The development industry as a whole is the largest service industry in Fort McMurray.

Our task is to be a conduit between our members, the public and all levels of Government.

Our goal is to provide a sustainable supply of housing and commercial property to our stakeholders, the people and businesses in our area.


Committee Information

Builders/Trade Committee

Builders/Trades Committee deals with the emerging issues within the home building sector, encompasses working with permitting, labour issues and public awareness.

Government Bylaws & Practices Commitee

Government Bylaws & Practices Committee monitors new and existing bylaws, actively contributes to the UDI- Alberta board at the Provincial level and has ongoing contact with all levels of Government.

Land Developers Committee

Land Developers Committee promotes the interests of the development industry, liaises with Engineering and utilities services to enable smooth development of lands.
